If your a beginner bass musician and your trying to figure out what is your best option to buy a beginner bass guitar and a bass amp, looking into a bass guitar package might be your best option. Why deal with the hassle and searching for the right bass guitar and then have to research the bass cabinet to buy as well. It’s a mush easier process to just go with a nice electric bass guitar package and get everything you need in one low cost package.

Ibanez Bass Guitar Package

My first bass guitar package was exactly what I needed. It was an Ibanez Bass Guitar Package and came with everything I wanted and needed (I found other good choices on a very helpful website http://basscabinetadvice.com). I was unsure to the type of bass guitar I wanted, so I did a little research to find a reasonably cheap bass guitar package. I stared researching the Internet to find good reviews on bass packages. I knew I wanted one that was in my price range but also of good quality. Purchasing a bass guitar package can be scary beacon there are so many out there that seem to come with a lot of accessories and for a great price. But the truth is, most of these accessories are unneeded and are just a way of getting you to purchase the package.

Top 3 things

I found that the best bass guitar packs are the ones that just come with the basics. All you need is (1) bass guitar (preferably from a manufacturer with a solid reputation) and (1) bass guitar amp (again from a manufacture that has a solid reputation) and a gig bag (not a necessity but generally the packages come with these). So (3) main items is all you really need for a solid bass guitar package.

Manufacturers

Once you find a bass guitar package you like, make sure you know a few things about the actual equipment. Make sure the bass is made from a well known commonly. If the manufacturer were an "unknown" company, I would look elsewhere. You really want a bass guitar to be a solid instrument that is made from a solid company. Manufacturers such as Ibanez, Fender and Modulus are all very reputable bass guitar manufacture names. You also should do the exact same with the actual amp. Just make sure to recognize the company who mad the amp and you'll be far better off that if you got one from an unknown company.

Conclusion

If you are certain that both the amp and the bass guitar come from solid foundation, and the bass guitar package is in your price range, then you should be good to go.
